Im curious about performance though. Ive read on vr-zone forums that the top of the range 9800GX2(or something like that, with 2 G92 GTS's) only has 30% performance above the ultra. So where does that leave the rest of the range if its true.?

I'll wait for the official benchmarks before I make a comment that might bite me in the behind

It's actually between 30-50% at least from what I read. The 9 series isn't a complete new series it's more like the move from 7800's to 7900's.

It was never a good gaming card. It was a good card for a system just used for multimedia but it was useless for gaming.

yes insult it some more...it plays Crysis at medium at some decent widescreen resolutions (given that I have a 3ghz core 2duo, and 2mb ram)

i heard the card is awesome compared to the 8800gts
hows is crysis on this card ?

cough... 2mb ram wont do for Crysis anymore
