Nvidia AI will help doctors analyse medical scans

For this application we don't need AI.
A good fixed features algorithm will do the job correctly.

It looks like Vidia is following trend introduced by Microsoft of replacing good programming practice with self-learning. It doesn't work, users are suffering.

You clearly have ZERO idea of how AI and Big Data actually work if you think things like fixed features algorithms are a good fit for the use case being presented by Nvidia for their AI. This is not really a surprise to be honest though.

Image processing is not AI.

These algorithms are about as self aware as the "AI" is in computer games. They are a really good way of solving problems, but I cringe when people call them AI.
