Nvidia<>Radeon drivers WOW

I pretty much never have any issues related to drivers when it comes to wow. Using Nvidia gfx, motherboard with nvidia chipset (sadly still on core2quad so nforce 6 still works for it).

Then again, I choose my hardware in such a way that I know I won't have problems.

Sensitive topic for some players (aka troll bait)...

For me... Nvidia ... no contest. ATI just like AMD... good hardware being let down by bad drivers. aka the wonderfull Via chipsets for AMD :-p

Some people claim they have no issues with ATI, but from my personal experience when there was WoW crashes + FPS issues in the raid, its somehow always an ATI in the equation somewhere. Suppose it greatly depends on your hardware setup.
Speccing with the correct hardware setups can greatly impact your wow performance / stability.

amd fanboy <---- but though i build my pc to run best and just not wow, so wow always runs.

though decent cpu is must for wow and some other games like blackops etc.

like core 2 duo will run most games even low clocked then you get bad scripted game like blackops, that just wont run.

tough wow is just old engine on the other hand :P

er.. I like geforce graphics cards :D

however, I think I have a radeon in my laptop, and wow runs just fine. anything above 25fps is fine in wow. how could I say that, I can telepathically see you asking. well, because until we get sub 100ms, it makes no damn difference.

Desktop pc had an ATI 4670 card, ran wow perfectly fine with no issues. Using a nVidia Geforce GT330m in my lappy now, and runs it with no issues whatsoever as well. :) So it's a tough call really.

Dual gpu nvidia graphics card (gtx 295) was the bane of my existence with wow. Tried gazillion drivers, differentt settings but still gave kak fPS.
All other single gpu both nvidia and ati I've had no problems
