Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics cards launch price comparison for South Africa

Several South African PC shops have listed prices for Nvidia's recently-announced GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

The card is Nvidia's first moderately affordable option in the RTX 40 series, which also includes the RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080, and RTX 4090.

Agree.
My last two cards have been Palits and they have been awesome. Zero complaints and like a few grand cheaper than the usuals (MSI, Asus, etc)

You can buy a AMD 6950 for R13500



It's about 20% faster and has 16GB vram, so its more future proof.

So few games have ray tracing that looks better than non ray tracing settings, so I don't count that as a major advantage.

I've always had a negative view of palit because it is a cheaper product, but based on the reviews of the 30/40 series cards, they seem alright. I might even consider going palit for 50 series if its going to save a couple grand.
