It is expected that the upcoming GPU could feature a performance level between the GeForce RTX 2080 and the RTX Titan Black

Sorry Jamie, I don't think you know very much about GPUs. This is not what the article said.

Telsa has two year old GPU that is 7 x more powerful than the top Nvidia GPU. Telsa is now working on a new GPU that is even more powerful for the Telsa car self driving AI. Nvidia are way behind.

Sorry but what? The two are completely different technologies and Tesla will fall flat when you give it a graphics task. They aren't even GPUs.

AMD pretty much just killed nvidias 2060 to 2070 Super lineup with their RX 5700 range, there really is no reason to buy nvidia from a price/performance point.

multi gpu rtx card?

will wait for their 7nm samsung chipped cards

This reminds me of an old conspiracy. The semiconductor industry conspiracy of keeping breakthrough technology hidden from the public in order to secure profit.

You won't see those again, they were still SLI and sli is not really a thing anymore. Think the gtx 690 was the last one.

well it is a complete thumb suck... it could be their interim answer to amd kicking their ass. theyve never been shy for charging an arm and a leg.

and sli is a thing! in my pc anyway :p

not so sure about keeping it hidden, but they definitely release it in drips and drabs while the ability to release much higher spec is a possibility. it makes sense, they do it while developing the next thing.

like when the core chips came out, bragged about so many cores blablabla, what did we get, dual core... quad core.. add a couple more cores, nothing like what the initial write up was. same with flash memory, huge breakthrough in storage space, but were only seeing now which was announced many years ago. it also has a lot to do with stock and production.

that conspiracy sounds like a very "simplified" version of this.
