No nzbsa is not like that, the numbers need to be kept low for better control thats all. The few elitist guys get boo'd down easily enough if they ever do show their heads, or they just plain are ignored.

Fair enough then, time will only tell I guess. Who knows, I might someday get an invite, join and then come back and eat my words.
 
being completely open to the public often leads to issues... and it really is so much easier to keep some control by using invites.

And it is not like it is very hard to get an invite

I don't think you need tons of posts to get an invite. You look like a good enough candidate. You've been here for ages and you explain your low post count in your sig:D. If I had any invites available, I'd definitely send you one!
 
Guys i wonder if you could help me, some one very kindly offered to let me join nzbsa, they gave me a invite code, so i filled everything in and the site said the person who invited me will be notified before i can join the site, so nothing happens for a few days and now i try log in, it says wrong user name and password when i have already saved both

I tell it to retrieve password and now it says i have yet to choose what my security question will be.

Your help would be greatly appreciated

The person who invited you needs to confirm the invite.
 
Hey Guys... spamming our Private Message Boxes with requests for invites is exactly how NOT to get an invite.

I think that if someone has been on myadsl quite a while and needs an invite then imo its ok to ask. I would be hesitant though to invite ppl who have only just signed up here or have only been on here a short while.
 
NZBSA is open for sign ups. No need for an invite. Most probably for a limited time only so hurry and join.
