To a degree. He wants the interwebz classified as a utility... Obama is right for the U.S. Think of ours 'tho; Eskom (with its brand new "junk" status) and Water supply. Hell, add Communication to the list and their digital migration and spectrum allocation which we've been having since... Oh, wait.
Comcast should never have got away with what they did to Netflix. The whole thing was a travesty. I imagine if we ever get a real service like Netflix here, companies like Naspers would be quick to try the same thing to protect their interests. The Internet is ours folks and it needs to stay that way. I can put up with throttling based on data usage to a point, but throttling based on how I choose to use that data... Never!
