What the lawyer acting in the case said was that no authentic original birth certificate had been relied delivered to the Secretary of State by Obama or anybody else acting on is authority and any such document purporting to be a long form birth certificate is an obvious "fraudulent" document. The lawyer made no comment on the authenticity of the document of which facsimiles were made and produced on the internet - only that those facsimiles are not in themselves authenticated documents for legal proceedings.
The admission is a truism namely that an internet released unsigned PDF and JPEG file is not admissible as evidence and therefore has no bearing in a law court. Of course the morons trying to damage Obama struggle to read and so such an admission is so open to misunderstanding that an article like this emerges.
Why the f%ck should Obama file the original of his birth certificate with some 100 authorities which may adjudicate on his eligibility to run for some or another section of an election, particularly because this is physically impossible and to file authentic certified copies of some shape or form lend themselves to the court demanding more authentic evidence and ultimately the original document.

An interesting update is the New Jersey legal challenge where Mr. Obama’s attorney asserted (and here) that the document is not evidence of either Mr. Obama’s identity or place of birth:
Judge Masin also asked Obama’s attorney whether she would so stipulate. She did so stipulate, agreeing that both the court and the Secretary of State cannot rely on the internet birth certificate as evidence of Obama’s place of birth and that Obama has produced no other evidence to the court regarding his place of birth.
What does this mean?
It means that Mr. Obama’s legal team decided the alleged birth certificate on the White House website cannot be defended from evidence it is a forgery.
Read that twice to let that sink-in.
This is consistent with the quote attributed to Gandhi that criminal oligarchs will ignore and laugh at you as for as long as possible to avoid the fight that factually crushes them.
This also means that exposing a lie this big helps the 99% with intellectual integrity and moral courage to expose the 1%’s crimes in money and war, arrest the obvious criminals, and begin policy for 100% of Earth’s inhabitants.
Oh, and it's from all sides that Obama's eligibility is now being questioned.
