Let's ignore the legalities either way for the moment. Is your position that a piece of paper is more important than what Obama signified in terms of him being the first black man elected as president of the USA? Are you pro law or anti Obama?
Not at all, in fact I was a big supporter of Obama. I hoped he would get in over Clinton and McCain, he was just the right "medicine" at the time.
There's no doubt his "Yes We Can" and "Change You Can Believe In" campaign was inspiring and the perfect tonic post-Bush.
I was quite happy with his presidency until I started digging deeper, seeing what laws he has implemented and is trying to implement.
Like I said -- a man is judged by his actions -- not the colour of his skin, what he says, or his personality, but his deeds. You claim to be a level-headed seeker of truth relying on common sense, well then go investigate just what he has done rather than appealing to his skin colour and his significance as a black man..
Quite frankly I'm not too concerned about his eligibility, personally I even think the law is unnecessary. However the fact is it is law, so it would speak to his character if he is not eligible and yet insists he is.
Edit: Who am I speaking to here from PS3za?
We've got Ranz; who is my other obsessive fan
