Seems like it, he doesn't really have much experience. Must say I'm not very impressed with him, he seems to be mainly hype and PR.

His father is a devout Muslim, as are his siblings. His middle name is Hussein, which he tends not to use.
At least the dems have a debate. Where were the republicans?IOW a perfect Dem
Four days after the Democratic debate in Charleston, S.C., more than 400 questions directed to the GOP presidential field have been uploaded on YouTube, as Republicans are scheduled to take their turn at video-populism on Sept. 17.
But only Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) and Rep. Ron Paul (Tex.) have agreed to participate in the debate, co-hosted by the Republican Party of Florida in St. Petersburg.

Yes, as a Muslim he would not have stood much of a chance. He himself says he is a christian - google gives plenty results

"I am a Christian.… So, I have a deep faith. I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there's an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.”
U.S. Senate candidate for Illinois Barack Obama
(though in my opinion they all suck)
Not that I've been paying a lot of attention. Perhaps I've just become disullusioned with the whole american government; they all seem the same hydra-headed beast. All the presidential candidates or just the Republican presidential candidates?
on a "60 min" video, he called Iran an "Evil empire", which it is. Can't see how a islam follower would say this.
Obama's biggest problem as I see it is that the US is a very racial country. They may say otherwise but I can't see the midwest US citizens voting for Obama.
I find that whenever the Republicans are in power, they royally screw everything up. Run up debt and almost always start some sort of war. The democrats get into power, start sorting everything out and when the fires are mostly out, the normal apathetic democrat voter relaxes and the midwest republican's vote their guys back into power.
