RealClearPolitics is a political news and polling data aggregator[2] based in Chicago, Illinois. The site's founders say their goal is to give readers "ideological diversity".[3] They have described themselves as frustrated with what they perceive as anti-conservative, anti-Christian media bias,[4]

Oct. 21: Uncertainty Clouds Polling, but Obama Remains Electoral College Favorite
By NATE SILVER
The bad news for President Obama: it’s been almost a week since the second presidential debate, in Hempstead, N.Y., one that instant-reaction polls said was a narrow victory for him. But there is little sign that this has translated into a bounce for Mr. Obama in his head-to-head polls against Mitt Romney. Instead, the presidential race may have settled into a period of relative stability.

There is bad news for Mr. Romney as well, however. The “new normal” of the presidential campaign is considerably more favorable for him than the environment before the first debate, in Denver. However, it is one in which he still seems to be trailing, by perhaps 2 percentage points, in the states that are most vital in the Electoral College.

The Huffington Post was launched on May 9, 2005, and is known as a left-leaning commentary outlet

Although Arianna Huffington has stated that her paper is "not positioned ideologically in terms of how we cover the news," representatives of the Republican Party have indicated that they believe The Huffington Post's headline writers, bloggers, and commentators are hostile to their views and tend to negatively spin articles...

/stirs pot :D:p

Do these sites then just make up the numbers? Or estimate them in their favour?

Depends, some do, some dont. Some choose bais methods of measurement some dont.

I wouldnt accept anything from the far right or far left. Currently the Democrats are middleish and the Reps have moved over to the far right.

These popularity polls mean almost nothing when it comes to actual voting. Thats now how voting in America works. With the real way voting in America works... Obama is very much in the lead.

I thought you saw the link to the electoral system...

Sorry, I got confused by your first link which was a popular poll. You can understand why I am confused why you would post that as your first link.

259-209

That is a very healthy lead.

No I don't understand why you are so confused...

I guess you wouldnt.
Perhaps next time don't be so quick to insult others. Read through other people's posts... calmly and slowly. Apply the principle of charity. It should help prevent future confusion and unnecessary insults from you.

Sheesh, what's happened to America, bunch of foul-mouthed uneducated loons :D
Cracker this, and cracker that :D

Oh my god, my eyes.. Not a surprise that these racist morons can't spell..

My favourite is 'assisnate' :D

Can't believe I received an infraction for posting that though :wtf:

Anyway, yeah the rhetoric from both sides is pathetic.
I mean did they learn nothing from the elections that put Obama in power. Obama won by a huge margin thanks to the white population. Quite likely one of the biggest in US history?
