Oblivion was already HD,
 
Grabbed the deluxe edition from GMG last night. All good except I'm noticing some weird ghosting effect with a drawn weapon. I can't unsee it now.

I still hate what they did to the graphics tbh. The original game had a unique, brightly coloured look that kinda made it look like a painting, especially in forests. Something that still looks good in 2025. Now the remaster looks like every other bland, brown UE game today.

honestly a remastered/remade Morrowind would've been better :-) Oblivion is the weaker of the 3 "recent" Elder Scrolls

Visually yes it would have been better, but I highly doubt they would have been able to pull it off. Way to many mechanics in Morrowind to port into UE5. TLDR: They would have fked it up.
