Short answer yes.

it will handle it ..... just play around with the settings and keep the intense things (View Distance, shadows, etc) low to medium to prevent lag. Man, you're gonna enjoy this game :D

awesome

will definately get it then. will hopefully be upgrading my card in december so will be able to run it better then.

been playing alot of FPS games and looking for something a little deeper to immerse into.

been playing stuff like dungeon siege (rad!!!!) etc and loving it. so if this is as good as everyone is saying.

im in!!!

Not fair Meph :(, the game came out in that year when my GFX card blew, I sat without gaming for a whole year. when I came back into the scene there was so many games to catch up to. Also I got Oblivion from a friend but it was broken:( haven't gotten it since:(

So a HD3870 and a e6420 @3.0GHZ will run it full?

I don't know anything about ATI cards ........ /me is Nvidia fanboi remember ;):D

hell i was playing it on a 7600 gt , 1 gig ram and 2.2 dual core system and it ran fine , so i think it wil work on yiu system

Need a new card though , anyone know where i can sell a kidney ? hardly used and i have a spare :p

my 1st playthrough was on a 7600GT and a dual core too ......... what a difference when you upgrade and can run it smooth with everything full though ;):D

now that you guys are mentioning processors

im currently running a 2.67ghz celeron

so with my 8600gt and 2.67ghz celeron

will that cut the mustard for oblivion

upgrading to core 2 duo soon, very soon

i ran and finished crysis on medium settings semi smoothly

ran smooth on low settings

really  ..... you must have a monster Celeron then. Nah, I just remember a PCFormat article where they said that anyone with a Celeron shouldn't bother with the game because you'll miss out too much.

Picard - rad is my 141st favourite word. im old school
i often combine it with other words like cool to form coolrad:)
