Hi guys and gals. I am trying to offer some remote support for my daughter. She is in CT and is moving from a LTE solution to a fibre one. The flat she is staying in has a ONT and ATB. The vendor Octotel sent me a message (went to junk so missed it for a day or two) asking of there was a pre existing installation and if so, what the GPON SN is. I have no idea where to find this info. Can anyone help? The ONT is a DASAN H665

What is an ATB? Take a photo of the DASAN and send it to your ISP for activation. Your ISP should send you a pre-configured router to just plug in.

Hey PBCool, thanks for the reply. I was doing research and came across the term. ATB is access terminal Box. Essentially the box where the fibre comes into the apartment. The fibre link then goes out of this box to the ATB.

Ahh, basically a splice box. You shouldn't have to remove it for your ISP to look it up. It's typically a last resort.
That is better news. Hopefully they can look it up, failing that, at least I no know where to find the info needed. Much appreciated guys.
