Odd behaviour from Ecco Inverter


you have to understand, when the generator generation rate is not stable enough, the regulator can do nothing to correct it.

you need a stable current, not voltage. if current is NOT stable. regulation of voltage is very limit to help.
unfortunately, I didn't find any "current regulator". :p

that is the reason why "generator" always a bad idea to use with inverter. you can't stabilize the supply of the current.

Isn't that why you turn the desk fan on first so there is a stable current, then plug in inverter? Anyway, there are a few people using a gennie to charge their trolley type inverter. @AlphaJohn @Lupus

Long time ago and yes I would put a small load on the gennie side first.
