Hi,

For the last week or so I have been experiencing the stranges problem. When I connect to the internet using my Telkom dial-up account, after a period of time (it changes) it would give a windows "Dont send" error. I check in the event viewer and I see the following fault:

Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module netapi32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x0000a3c0.

Now, I have tried this on 3 computer, the last computer I did a fresh installation of windows, installed my modem and connected using the Telkom account, after about 10 min, I got the same problem. And then I need to restart my computer before I can use the internet again.

Now, when I use my openweb account, I never get this problem... I really dont know what to do anymore :(

I have had this modem for 2 years, and like I said, I have used 3 different computers. Any help would be amazing!

Have you tried updating the .NET Framework? Leech someone's modem and update the .NET Framework to version 3.0.

This should fix it.

I found the problem, for the ppl that ever gets this also ... here is the reason:

"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problems and needs to close" or in addition to that they had no sound as well ...
the problem is the new exploit which attacks ppl through open ports, that affects the netapi32.dll which can be easily fixed ...

Solution:
Download Windows Worms Door Cleaner

http://www.firewallleaktester.com/tools/wwdc.exe

and close all ports

SO, it only leads me to believe that the Telkom exchange that I connect to is ****ty.
