I'm driving a gaming PC with a 100ah 12v lithium battery with a SPS-600 pure sine wave inverter (Only 600w), so to keep things light weight, I'm looking at minimizing electricity use so I can get the most out of my battery.
My specs:
LG 27 inch 4k 60Hz freesync monitor (praised for low power consumption)
Logitech desktop USB speakers.
Cooler Master Gold Rated 550W Modular PSU
MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max
Ryzen 5600G (Standard cooler)
Asus Dual RX 6600
16GB 3200 RAM
2xNVME drives (installed on Mobo)
1xSSD (in case)
Xiamoi Smart Tower Fan 2 (Yes I spent almost R2000 on a energy efficient fan, lmao, pulls only 15W!!!)
Long standing lamp with LED bulb
All of this I'm running through a smart power plug which can read power draw.
Running a 4k video on Youtube, with all of the above switched on and working, I stay under 100W (Would give me roughly 12 hours of continuous use on the battery)
Running a high demand game like Squad, with all of the above switched on, I get around 260W (would squeeze roughly 4-4:30 hours out of the battery. You can extend this obviously by playing less demanding games.
I also have two 160w 12v solar panels in parallel which extends use dramatically throughout the day when the sun is out.
Fairly certain if I add two more Lithium 100ah 12v batteries I can run my pc gaming entirely off-grid.
