I see I can get the Office 2007 Home and Student Edition DSP edition form dealers; this ships as a license only, no media.

Anyone know if the license key will work on the standard retail installation disk, or does one really have to buy the full Office 2007 system builder kit for it?

I used to have XP Pro Student Edition and the Key worked with every XP CD but I would not count on it working.

The DSP is supposed to be installed by the system vendor, who has to buy the installation disks, cost around R1500 or so if I recall correctly. Generally OVL, Retail and OEM/DSP media and CD keys are not compatible. You can try and download the media, there are sites available, but I am not sure which media sets they offer.

The H&S retail edition costs about R800 bucks and can be installed on 3 PCs which calculates to R267 for each PC. I'm not sure about DSP but I assume with out a R100 box you should get the same benefits, but with what's stated it looks less likely.
