Office 365 Enterprise - your thoughts

Since I'm probably moving back into the Windows world soon I have been wondering something.

If I have my own private "Home" Office 365 account with the 1TB storage and all that, how does it integrate with Office 365 Enterprise?

Or do I just assume it doesn't at all.

I've seen in Windows 10 and Windows Phone that you have the option to add your "Work Account" as a sort of secondary function, would that include features such as these or is that purely your domain credentials?

I'm no expert but I'll answer your question as best I can.
On my work laptop its a similar scenario - I'm still using all my private O365 (Home Premium) accounts (OneDrive, etc), however for work O365 (enterprise) I'm using OneDrive for Business.
Both apps are running side by side.

The email accounts are completely separated and there is nothing stopping me from adding my private email (@Outlook.com) to outlook on my work PC, however I'm only using the work O365 email.
I also only use Lync on the enterprise side, I have not setup Skype on this laptop although I see no reason why they wouldn't co-exist.

We have about 80 users, on a 10Mb/s broadband connection and its running happily and we have been doing this since the time of BPOS right after BPOS we migrated to O365,

Making use of the full package including Lync, Deployed all of it with SCCM2012,
Next step is OneDrive, I think I might have to upgrade to a 15Mb/s Outlook, Lync(Video/Audio) and One Drive might just get a bit much for a 10Mb/s connection

Your challenges are mostly connectivity and office updates.

There are a few ways on how to deploy the office client software and manage updates.

Let me know who would like the Office 365 ISO,s ;) works with wsus as well :)

Yes, but because the addresses are identical, it requires me to change DNS configs and essentially be offline for the duration of the migration, which in this business is quite impossible, although I will try to find the time for now. So we pay for two providers at the moment as it cannot import from what Zoho saves the exported mail accounts as.

I wonder if they will allow a connection to their mail system via O365? Then there is a few steps and your mail transferred over wire.

For your downtime I suggest go with a Mimecast gateway solution. Used it plenty of times and its instant switch with no downtime and lost mail.

Edited: Mimecast rocks. Best mail archiving system I had experience with.
 
We're migrating to O365 with an E3 license. We also Mimecast 10 year archive, and it works well for migrating Exchange servers because your mail goes to MC first before your Exchange server, so even when your server is down, the mail doesn't bounce back to the sender...

Why would your mail go down if you are using Exchange online? We have never had any of our clients go down....

Only issue that could cause this would be DNS issues......
