Keane says goodbye to Sunderland

Sunderland, England - Roy Keane has left his job as manager of English Premier League club Sunderland, English media reported on Thursday.

The reports followed 24 hours of intense speculation that the former Manchester United star was on the brink of quitting.

There was no immediate confirmation or denial of the reports from Sunderland but, according to the BBC, players and staff have been informed of Keane's exit.

Keane had been in charge of the club for 27 months and guided them into the Premier League in his first season in charge.

He had been under pressure as Sunderland slipped into the relegation zone and the Irishman had expressed doubts as to whether he was the right man for the job. - AFP

Who watched the Everton vs Villa game? That last 20 minutes was the most hectic footie I have seen this season!

More bad news for the Gunners - Rosicky still out until March...At least Eduardo is on the mend. Meant to play the next game for the reserves.

Eduardo is possibly more needed than Rosicky -specially when Theo gets back- as we need to score more goals. We so need to hit the transfer market.

Liverpool 2-2 Hull at half time after Hull were 2-0 up after 20 odd minutes. Has been a great game so far

What a brilliant first half. Hull seemed to cave in after the first 25 minutes.

Can't wait for for the 2nd half. My prediction is 4-3 to Liverpool.

That would be some result! It could go anywhere from here. The next goal is crucial I reckon...

I also rate Pool will win it from here, sadly.

Liverfool and Arse both draw, Man U not looking that hot against Tottenham, Chelsea's chance is here to seize the lead tomorrow evening!
