Ok I love the official Android rugby app

It took some time before it reflected the scores at 1st but once it did that it was up to date. Also a nice feature is the Highlight real from the mach where you can see a video of the blow by blow action.

I think if people want to avoid the result then avoiding anything with news would be a good idea. So basically avoid the internet until you are to ready watch :D. I don't got no droid only a blackberry :D.
 
Lots of criticism or at least skepticism of NZ's performance against Tonga. I thought they did just fine - they established an early lead and maintained it without risking injury to key players. I'd hardly say they struggled. They played wisely and I think those that believe NZ should've done better are not seeing the full picture here. They did what they needed to do and did it within the confines of 80 minutes, period.

So, whose joining me in crying for Argentina tomorrow?

They weren't accurate, by their standards a lot of dropped balls and wayward passes. I think that's the point the crits are making...

Ah - same as their last match against us. And many of their other matches, come to think of it. Perhaps with more eyes on them, their weaknesses are coming to light.

Some people on this board said the Argis were a bunch of has-beens. I think the first half suggests that assertion is false...and remember two of their backs have been taken off; it'll be a miracle if they manage to hold off the Poms in the 2nd half.

The Italians were pushing the Aussies all over the place in the scrums. I'm looking forward to seeing them getting messed up against even stronger opposition.
 
I slept a little in today - thanks for these comments on the Aus game - so they also struggled a bit, then? Interesting:

(1) NZ regarded to have played at below their ability. See above - passes etc.
(4) FR failed to pitch until late in the second half against JP.
(5) ENG sucked against (9) ARG, though it must be said ARG is formidable (not minnow) opposition.
(2) OZ comments above would suggest not up to form either.

In the top 5, 4 so far have had lacklustre starts by many accounts. Let's hope we crack that mould!

Someone else better update scores - I will be unable to do so.
