does anyone know what the dream update for january 2010 on the leaf website updates?

I used this as my guide to flash the perfect SPL. Just use a newer version of the flashrec apk as well as a newer version of the recovery image. Also I think it only worked once my phone was unplugged from USB.

I used this as my guide to installing the ROM. Some of the steps are a bit different with newer Recovery Image, but is easy to figure out.

There is some issues with the ROM, but it is not irritating. Only real problem is the when using the camera or goggles the audio of the device stops working, but there is some work arounds. Just have a look at the thread. Google maps[brut] is the one you use for Google maps navigation.

Hi. Just thought I'd let you guys know that my tutorial above will not work for HTC Magic's with the Sense UI update. I haven't figured out an easy method to root yet, seems you will have to use the Goldcard method which is risky ... will attempt it after my exams. Regards, Itai
 
Has anybody managed to get activeSync working after upgrading the Magic to 2.1? I've even tried downloading touchdown but it also does not work. I get "Not trusted server certificate" even though I've said fetch and trust certificate - which works.

A colleague of mine with the Nexus one had it working no problem to the same exchange server.

Lol ... yeah, except I can't get the European RUU to install ... I'm assuming I need to use goldcard method ... which I will only do once I get another phone, or maybe not ... just give this phone to my mom :p
 
updated to CyanogenMod 4.2.x+EBI1..rom is fine but now have gmail problems...it checks and syncs but when i want to read an email it just goes to a blank screen and then back to the mailbox...anybody have an idea what the problem is? have a i installed a dated rom?
 
saw this article about how an update can make the nexus 1 use 802.11 n, is this possible isn't it Dependant on the hardware.
