have not read up on the hacks available for Black Ops .... maybe I should research it a bit, so I know what to look for... Pls guys post what you know about them.... thnx
 
I think im uninstalling today, i havent had fun playing it for a few weeks now,
 
Makarov, it sounds like there is a problem with your RIG mate. I saw another guy in the Crysis 2 thread play with half the rig you have and he has no issues whatsoever....

Have you tried a fresh install on a new HDD? I had similar performance issues with my rig and after a fresh install on a different hard drive my issues seem to have been resolved. Sometimes your HDD is the culprit - even though it is working it has degraded performance... If you are able to, give it a bash and see? Might be worth your while?
 
So it seems I have about 160hrs of play time, on prestige 5 Level 20. So If I go by that, its going to take me another 320hrs to P15.... eish I dont think so! That 160hrs has taken me since November to accumulate. How many of you think you will actually get to P15, or you not concerned??

I am there already :p and luckily I made it before all these "cheaters" appeared. I'd like to think that the cheaters won't join a NGL Rule server. :D Almost have my 5th gold camo.

I'm in the same boat. Stopped worrying about it. Just going to play the modes I feel like playing and forget about prestige.

@sharkbait: I think cheaters avoid any SnD server... too easy to get bust when everyones looking over your shoulder.
 
pretty good stat rates, youre twice as good as i am, i am at p lvl 5 or 6? ...the fists... and have 313 hours game play, its taken me twice as long to get as far

Apparently the next Call of Duty will have prestige prestige, where you have to do level 15 15 times.. you unlock diamonds for your gun.

Without some sort of creative approach to prestige, i think it will fail, personally i would make a neat bundle of elite weapons that unlock at the end so it makes it worth it, or an end game code that when entered into the next release allows a weapons advantage, as is it just makes you unwillingly plod along so you still get xp points
 
I agree, because current prestige only give you gold guns... and the rights to brag.....
Rather give me something to look forward to.... 1 of a kind gun, some addition to guns making them better or something like that.

I am only half way through P2 now, and do not see going much further
 
I purchased my first 3 challenges the other day ... never bothered with it before. Also never played any of the other game types (in the money etc)

@makarov, I'm pretty sure my KD is similar to yours, but my totals are not that high yet... will look later what they are...

None of our admins are younger than 17 so don't say they sound like 8 year old girls. And If you breaking the rule on nuketown, you are causing so many TK's and getting your team mates kicked when they call in their Heli's thats why we make it so Defenders can't spawn rape the attackers, also you have a objective, DEFEND THE BOMB! You are the first complaint I have seen about YIA I have had nothing but good reviews from the public about our servers: Racism Free, Fun, Only 1 gameplay rule and thats on 1 of our servers. If you have a query or complaint contacts us on our website www.yiaclan.co.za If not don't nerd rage us on forums or we will post the real reasons you got banned from our servers. Engage with us and we can sort troubles out, but Racism is an immediate irreversible ban!

Okay, just read it again. Think the reply from Zealot is a bit harsh though... Oh well. As I said in reply to that post; each to their own...

I am of the opinion that if you do not like our server and you have something to say about it then go ahead - just don't think you will be welcome on them again. ;)

I doubt I will start flaming someone for having an opinion.
 
welcome @Zealot Hill... I seriously would not get worked up about it, you cant please everybody all of the time... Some guys dont like our rule about no last chance... well, sorry, but thats just the way it is... lets just go and have fun!

BTW AlterRcon has released 2.01 and it still has some bugs, but there are some nice features they are putting in (not working 100% on 64bit win7 yet), I like where you can add your clan members as admin so when they join the server, any one of them can kick someone just by typing "!kick playername" in the text chat! Also they are working on a method to ban Last Chance!!! Yay .. auto warn & kick !! check it out, I rather like the tool! www.alterrcon.com

Also just a note, I'm not to concerned about language etc on my server ... We all supposed to be 18+ to play anyway. But if a player is going to be completely abusive, I'll kick him ...I started kicking people who don't apologize for TK's too now, and especially those who do it intentionally. Can't believe there are players out there who would kill a teamie to steal the care package ... jeesh ...how low!

Yeah - I've heard about these imaginary lines and not being able to use Second Chance. It's not just Y!A - there are others. Here's the point - I'm not going to get bent out of shape trying to remember who has what rules. I usually die long before any line and sometimes I end up with a machine gun in a sniper only environment. Not for long though.

I did get kicked once for Second Chance (not from Y!A) - that seems silly because as far as I could tell it comes with the default Assault kit.

My problem is the numbskulls who deliberately don't look where they are running and end up with my bullets in the back of their heads. And it never happens to the guys on the other side - they can dodge my shots so easily. Perhaps it's because they see them coming?

Maps like Nuketown are too chaotic to be able to say soz - maybe I need a key macro?

what utter crap, dont make up rubbish i was never racist on your server or an any, this is the biggest load of BS lie ive read on this forum to date, yes your imaginary line is your rules for a server you paid for, and i leave if i don't like it, ive seen your YIA members insult people consistently on your servers, so dont talk rubbish, if this is the way you react to a player raging about a rule they don't like then thats disgusting , you would seriously go to the length of falsely accusing someone of being a racist, i might of said stupid fkn idiot, at worst. you need to get your head checked.

edit: i was never banned until you read that comment on the forums, got angry and retaliated by making up a lie and then banning me.
