I just realised that this Black Ops pre load from Steam was just a lot of hot air

There is a favorites tab. But no option to add servers by IP...

Click on the servers tab - bottom right - add server

You finding any SA servers???? I only see USA UK, Brazil and a few more.

Yeah aswell, there doesn't seem to be an option to add servers, the best I am finding have around 270ms pings.

Try changing your filter options to only Black Ops, Africa and <150ms ping

I dont know if this will work though, I will only install when I get home.

Well, iGame arn't the only South African servers there are.

I for one have a server, the control panel says its up, however I cant to it via RCON due to the game not being released on steam yet.

And I hear there is no way to add an IP ingame, although I could be wrong.

If you want to give it a go my server IP is: 196.28.169.54:3074

Im only getting the game in 6 more hours when its released on steam :/

In steam under server is a option to add favourites. Not Ingame. But that does not work either as the game is not listed yet under games in the server options. And if try adding the ip's manually it does not find the server. So no clue.

Been playing the offline mutiplayer with bots for a while. I smell a MW2 remake here... First couple of min felt just like MW2

If anyone is still having issues with the "not yet released" problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling Steam from the resources directory on the Black Ops DVD. It worked for a friend and I.

I think the "not yet released" problem is being experienced by people who pre ordered/Loaded it from "a lot of hot air"
