The problem is, even with the retail version it still uses steam to install. So retail or not, game wont install

There seems to be a huge lag issue with black ops. I hope none of us wil be experiencing this.

Switch off the internet and change the time on your PC. Then you can play offline atleast. Unless Blackops is steam based like MW2.....

Ok, mine has been installed for days. What I mean is, can you play single or multy player

Any1 know of any free software where I can chance my ip adress to somewhere in aus...their steam version works already.

All software i know of is programs like Proxifier and SocksCap.
But they are generally used in conjunction with stuff like GameMax.org which reduces latency in WoW. Other than that i really dont know.

@blogbytes - you should be able to play online instantly. Mweb have had their servers up since midnight. Will let you know in 5 mins though. Just quickly updating.

Spent 2 hours this morning from 1 till 3 to get it installed, and tried again at 7:30 this morning... Hope I don't have issues when i get home tonight.

Well i can browse servers. Just cant find the SA ones yet.
