But I think that I'm becoming really hated... Not sure why, maybe cos I play strategically (apparently that is now called camping) and wait for people to come and look for me (when its 1v4 type situations) on snd...

But between you and Baker, I have my hands full if you're both against me... Especially since I gave my cfg to Baker...

Hardcore is a good place to start SLOW... Camping slow.. :p

But yeah, Acid got a point. Just don't get too used to it, rather try out TF 141 server and work on your reaction times to aiming and then play some slower games like snd... But don't play hc snd!!! Those games take 3 times as long because half the team doesn't even run out of the spawn area...

Yeah, that those moaners p!sses me off, since, when you are defending, you should be DEFENDING(camping) and not HUNTING, like most n00bs do. :mad:

But between you and Baker, I have my hands full if you're both against me... Especially since I gave my cfg to Baker...

and what a config it is. I won't say that it is making me a tanker or hit reg is better, but the sound is a million times better. Maybe it is just my aiming that sux. Also, I think there are some guys playing with configs that remove smoke, as I have been shot twice through smoke... Can't even use smoke to get away anymore.

BTW, have you seen that eco.something.coolermaster dude, he has a config for each map. :eek: He was one of the guys that killed me through smoke.

As far as I know there is no config to see through smoke. Chances are that it was a luck shot or a well timed luck shot... I can occasionally do it too... You see someone run into the smoke and you time the shot at the right height and sometimes you get lucky :)

Be that as it may, that's the only time you will see me RQ. ;)
 
I dunno? I got mine with MoH. What they will probably do is have it closed for a while then open it up to everyone. I mean like 50ppl bought MoH, going to be a pretty useless beta test. :P

well, I am 1 of the 50 :D and I know Joe has it as well.

So as soon as it is available, I'm going to give it a try.
 
There is no indication yet what the dates of the beta will be.:(
But as with others, should be about 3 or so months before the game launch
As the release date of BF3 was leaked, 02Nov2011. November is going to be a big month.:)

5. Configs - The next person i catch using a config which removes smoke from his game will be banned from the NGL BO League Season 1. Removing graphics and textures from your game by any means are not legal. There are 2 players from separate clans who have been given final warnings regarding this.

ive been sniped lying down behind smoke in a league game.... u dont aim to the ground accross the map.
 
Too be honest, I am getting concerned with BF3. The Battlefield games were never about single-player, the single-player was you running with bots. Bad Company was something entirely different, it was not a true Battlefield title.
Once again it seems that the game will be watered down to suit the ex-Counter-Strike/COD4 now Bad Company 2 players, with the emphasis on infantry action. We are suppose to be happy with the announcement of 64 player maps and aircraft, but those were suppose to be included without the need to mention it. Now there are rumors the Commander function was taken away.

Battlefield 2 was hectic and also like no other game. It accommodated so many different types of game play in a single map. You wanna be a pilot, have fun with the jets and helicopters. You like to sneak around, avoid action but complete the objectives, you play Battlefield. Ducking approaching tanks, or hiding from one praying the commander won't spot you.

I truly hope I am wrong though. Maybe they are saving the best for last, and will blow our minds with a proper multi-player video.
