I get the exact same problem. Just freezes went in to task manager and BO was using 1.8GB of RAM wtf is up with this game.
Same problem. My game crashes often with the new patch..
Our Search and Destroy server has been this weekend so I am forced to kick some players when any of my clan members need to get in.
@Slaughter - I notice Q server is also really busy. I couldn't get in.
This game has many flaws, but it is a heck of a lot of fun when it is lag free... 4mb line does help of course. We (me and code) kicked Jarhead from our server as a joke during the weekend. All lanning at my place. It said that he was banned, but in actual fact we had just kicked him... So as code says, just give it a few minutes and try rejoin.
Also, slayeruser, I know the guy who is renting the vympel server and I don't think he would just ban people. Perhaps its a similar story (kicked to make space for a friend or something like that) so I would go so far as to say its nothing personal at all.

Yeah it is unfortunate that you have to kick some peeps to make space for a clan member, but I suppose it is just the way it goes.

The Q server is hectically busy - a couple of times (before I made reserved spots) I had to kick someone in order to get in.

You can reserve 5 slots on your Ranked server for clan members. If you go into my.gamingservers.com you can set it up by going to config and selecting the txt file. There you add your passwords (needs to be unique passwords) and if your clan members need a spot all the do is right click on the server (in the server list menu) and click on "join reserved spot" enter your password and the server randomly kicks someone.

mm, I want a reserved slot on a HC S&D server. 
@ Kyubi - yes, it might happen, in which case you will manually have to kick some other unfortunate player.
@ Sharkbait - once all the issues have been sorted on the servers I am planning on holding a vote at the beginning of each map to determine:
- Game type for next round
- Map for next round
Although I have a feeling it will probably stay on HC TDM most of the time...

Has anyone bought the game for single player (or MP and doesn't like it) and wants to trade for Starcraft2? I still have the 1 free name change available for online play...

I wish that they would specify if their server is hc or not, some guys do and the only other way that I know of checking is setting the filter to hc or if the server info has friendly fire on.
BTW, you will always have one vote for S&D if I am on your server.
For this reason clan members should always join with password. That way you won't get kicked if another member joins with a reserved slot.

OK, will check again. Did not try joining again after the ban/kick..... was way to PO'd
I also need to try to set my steam friends list to offline. as I still had some pingspikes after the new patch.
For those who have the game feeze, and use ATI/AMD. I rolled back my drivers to 10.8. and no freeze after that!!!!!!

That is the strange part, well in my case at least. Only 4-5 on my friendslist still play MW2. The rest is all BO.
Amazing how people moved on from MW2......

My Game seems to be running pretty smooth at the moment!! Had a few good games this weekend, I unlocked the Commando rifle, man I love that thing! Was in game with a guy named "water ?? something" holy cow did he rape everyone.... I even went back and watched an entire match from his POV to see if he was cheating somehow.... hard to tell, but looked legit...
