We have our hardcore division. They all not on Black Ops yet though...

I am always lagging. That driver was just placebo. It worked for a short while and I changed nothing! and it started to lag again..... I am pretty much frustrated with this game.

For the past 3 weeks, I have spend time trolling the internet and pretty much tried everything. Nothing works....They have to make a proper patch...

I also noticed a little more lag than usual this weekend (when i did play). But I still got pretty decent play.
 
Mine isn't that bad anymore, yes it still does need some fixing, but at least I can play now. The friend that visited me has the following specs.

E6700 @ 3Ghz
2.5Gb ram
Asus p5q deluxe
ATI 5670

and he is laging like a mofo. Doesn't matter when display settings you use. Even when he plays on his adsl, it lags, pretty much the same as before the patch.
 
That is what (at least to me) is so strange about this game.
One of my friends have a "older" pc, but a 4mb line with almost no issues.

I have the newer/better machine, but wireless internet, and stangely enough lags and disconnects about every second game..... so, I agree. a serious patch is still needed.

Well, he was playing on my Iburst connection. On my pc, it is fine, on his, eish...

No, man not yours, another buddy in Centurion. He is also on 4mb, still dual core, but with a 5870. So, this is really annoying to me.......

so, then the answer is actually, you need a beefy machine, and (above) good connection, 4mb to be safe:(

I find the last stand is bollocks, lots of noobs using it on Hardcore so that its not really hardcore for them

It is, I've sort of adapted to automatically shooting the body on the ground just to make sure.

it feels like last stand is bugged, what i mean is when u spray a guy with a smg he falls down, last stand but its like your bullets stop doing damage for a while.
almost as ur pc thinks ur target is dead.

also a question on last stand,do u go in last stand on 90% damage
instead of dying on 100%. or do u take 100% damage then go into last stand?

it seem more OP in blackops

Yeah, I've noticed that as well, with the AK74U the guy can take up to 3 hits while falling / laying down before it registers!! (you can hear the sound of bullets hitting)
 
IMO they should have just removed the perk. They removed everything other perk that's "noobeish". Maybe they just left it because they couldn't come up with any other perks...

I love how nobody revives they team mates lol. Every game they just leave them to die :p

I have revived a few of my team mates before if they within distance..

If they're close enough I do revive.Also if I don't get shot down while trying to get to them :o the medic mentality is strong with me from BC2.
 
ive been wondering , i use the spas12 + silencer on hc mode and it feels really overboard with power ... idk , mebe its the close range ? guys who run infront of me die with one bullet , and those who have last stand die with 2 bullets ... it just feels a bit overpowered ??? idk .... actually feel bad when i use the shotgun as they dont stand a chance lol unless its somebody who IS alert
