Official Black Ops Discussion Thread

Wrong, the Xbox 360 does not use a Cell processor. It's only the PS3 that uses the Cell.

It's utterly pathetic that the PC version is so glitchy while the console version has no serious issues.

I'm actually thinking of getting the console version.

The game is a console port. so they hardly put as much effort into the pc version which is why its so glitchy.
 
Anyone else having connection issues with Black ops while on Team Speak 3? My TS drops when i launch BO and the moments later in game my Black Ops keeps giving the Connection timed out error and hangs for a minute or so and then fires up.

I don't thinks so we've spent quite a bit of time on TS and BO without disconnects. Except the random server disconnects that everyone has.

I get the same, but my lag keeps going for a few seconds and then it is OK again.

Patch..... where the hell is it? It's taking too long now!!!!!


And, I played my first wager match last night. Starting with the pistol.
Well, I ended up 2nd, but the 2nd round the guys were on like their 6th or 7th weapon and me still on my 1st.....lol

I've also noticed that I lag more on FFA games. Probably because it's more close combat.

yeah, well, all the wager servers on CPT is always empty.
I was just checking out what the smaller maps look like, and all of a sudden 3 players joined and then 2 more and the game started....

is OIC the one you start with only 1 bullet????
 
I dont have admin access to my clan server [DoG], and I have not seen any of my clannies online in the last few days. Now my problem is that I just cant find my server anymore in the browser ?!?!? I can't seem to find Q's anymore too? I end up on Team UD's server now most of the time.... Can you guys check if you can see the [DoG] server ...
 
Q sever is down. Ill check the DOG one, but as you say alot of the servers, even official and Mweb ones have been missing for a few days

Yeah, One In the Camber. It's normally like that, empty, but I have found that if you join one, more people will follow. I have my filters set to not show empty and full servers, and I think most guys do, that is why I only see wager servers, when there is one or more players in.
 
Funnily enough, I was pricing the new xbox 360 S... I can get it with black ops for 3799. I just paid 2500 for my gfx card alone... Maybe I should just go to console. Microsoft saying that it will only be replaced in 2015... What you guys think? Try aiming without a mouse (LOL) and no aim assist (LMAO-console noobs)
