line speed doesnt make any difference for me its actually worse in the evening with 10mb/s which is fkd

i have a phenom x2 555be unlocked , on both x2 and x4 modes theres no fps lag issues (56-100) except lag spikes depending on the server i use.

7 out of 10 servers i join are stable and playable....

3gig ddr3 1300
5770 1 gig
axxess lite package 384 line at 30 packets default on cod4 and cod bo


they should put this game under the guinness book of records ... game with most bugs

I keep getting Server Disconnects or lost connection to server now after the patch. Always happens when I first start the game and try play. After 5 min and restarting the game it goes away.... then it is as smooth as MW2. I am on a 4mb line using mweb uncapped. I am running a Q6600 OC'd to 3.0ghz with 2X2 gig 1066mhz ram and a GTX280.
 
game worked 100% before now im spiking insanely >.<( game just froze now ,never happened before)

treyarch thanks for breaking it even more >.<
 
in the meantime all us xbox guys are having no problems at all.... had lag once this entire month.... for 10 minutes
 
Getting DC'ed at the start of a game is usually because of the new 'Shader Warming' feature. Try turn it off and see.

As for other people having problems. Try to delete your config_mp.cfg file and let BO make a new one.

My game seems to be running smother fps wise, and training with bots is fine, but online is still a pos. Feels like I'm playing underwater.

ya ya , but pc is just more awesome with its latest hardware and some more latest hardware ... some dx11 drawn off my gfx card ... and some multi tasking here ... ... pc doesnt have kinect (yet) the idea of owning kinect (the one thing that makes the sexybox awesome for me but i still dont own it) will fade faster than wii if they dont make better games than these simple yet very exhausting reflex games :D

imagine cod with kinect , where you would physically reload or scope :D moving about would be hard yet fun ... i can imagine alot of people running and diving in the living room while playing cod:bo lmao

k so you bunch of Prestige freaks,

how many challenge levels are there for say ie the gun types?

like say "SUB MACHINE GUN KILLS" where you get the total amount of kills with the SMGs

currently going toward a 6 but hell want to change my gun anytime soon.
 
I had some good games this weekend :) I installed a old driver from July 2009 recommended by Activision. I am still not happy because the game still stutters during gunfire:( and Treyarch sucks!!! :p but I can play a little now oh and after 11AM :)

I still have choppy sound and I have to type /snd_restart every 30seconds :( I binded to my F4 key. Is anyone else experiencing these sounds issues?


I played a bit HC this weekend and this idiot kept on team killing me for no reason. I was so pissed...

Anywho I setup our SPA server this weekend. I had to move it to Cape Town because some of my members are still on Telkom in CPT. Here are details:

Please join us. Its a Mosh Pit Setup(Normal Mode). Its not HC. I noticed a lot of HC and S&D servers this weekend. Their isn't any normal Mosh Pit servers. I think I missed that phase last month with all the issues...Everyone just wants to play S & D..

Yes, I noticed as well, I only found 1 (normal) that actually have some players on and that was hellhound or something like that.

Also found that like after 12 in the evening I get better, more stable games.

Any comments on whether a 12 man or 18 man server makes a difference? I notice that in clannies on unranked servers the game is very smooth and actually fun to play... But once that's over I go back to ranked and get the occasional stutter again... Haven't played on 12 man server except for code's one... Which is now our FU clan match server...
 
I have just started having sound problems?!?! sometimes it disappears completely, even in the menu.... other times it sounds all scratchy, crackly and hollow... wtf?
 
I didn't even know I had a sound problem until it was pointed out to me lol. I thought the game was meant to sound that way....But even when its correct, the sound still sucks :p

That's the thing that confuses me, I don't know if I have a sound problem or not. I think I don't. ;)
