Seen that happen IRG it is very annoying. I have had my soldier spin around in circles shooting the ground and sky before getting the checkered flag, probably indicating that this game is finished and I should find something else..

Not sure whether NAG would get involved with this - might damage their reputation. Mygaming might because they are not relying on studio's for demo's etc as much as NAG does.

Anyways, I don't think we have a governing body or ombudsman if you wish that can take these guys to task. Considering we were not even on a dedi server list until JUST before launch I don't think we have much of a voice. Let's back the Poms and get them to do the battle for us. If only the US gamers would do something similar THEN you would see action pretty quickly from these douches!
 
I am in... Recently reinstalled it and it was good fun playing.

There is also a large contingent of =Q= guys still playing MW2.
 
I think a lot of guys have moved away, cause when I got home yesterday, I saw almost no servers, changed my filters and most server (90%) where empty. :erm:

Just a pitty we are playing NGL on blops...
 
It is unavoidable Sharkie. Unless they fix this crap guys will start moving to other titles...
 
Thing is, I don't struggle nearly as much as you guys. The biggest problem I have, is the game just hanging and so far I haven't had it during a NGL match. I think I got that checkered board thingy like twice since I have the game.

We blame a lot on the game, but almost no one blames telkom or mweb for these problems...
 
Sure, but nobody knows FOR SURE who's problem it is... After all the issues we had post launch can you say for sure that it is a Treyarch/MWEB/Telkom problem? Nope. Some guys on MWEB have no issues, some do. Some guys on Afrihost have no issues, others do. Some guys have freezes, some don't... Nobody can say for sure whose issue it is. Therefore take the problem out of the equation i.e. play something else... ;)

Which is exactly what I will do...

@ Joe, The difference between aal the mweb and afrihost guys is, different locations, eg. useless telkom network. Yes, I have lag, but I am on a wireless connection... Yes, I have freezing, but since blops is the only game I currently play, who says I don't have a problem with my memory or something... I am to lazy to check.

Other than these 2 problems, I don't really have something to complain about... :D
 
Yeah, but since the peering issue between mweb and telkom doesn't influence those games, you really can't blame blops... ;)
 
I don't mind mweb hosting the servers, though I do think they aren't doing the best job of it, it's more a problem of them deciding to stop the peering (of which we have seen no benefit off)...

Also, you guys that can host and use mweb as ISP, will have the same lag issue with people trying to connect when using telkom BW and screamer. ;) Just a thought.
 
I got blops last night. Played with a buddy over the net and I realised just how badly I need to cancel my Neohell account. I was getting 250-350 ping the whole time :wtf:
 
Lol. It's more likely that Mweb and Neotel don't have a peering agreement, hence his ping.
 
While I'm aware of the issues regarding Neotel's wireless internet. 250 - 300 ping actually sounds pretty good compared to some of the numbers I've seen posted by Neotel users, which is why I think it might be a peering issue.
