The other maps is pretty random and difficult to spawn camp. The engine will spawn you (9 times out of 10) between friendlies - at the odd chance you spawn between enemies then it is just bad luck. In Nuketown its easy to spawn camp and I hate it. That is the main reason why the map was taken off of rotation on RoS it is back now - but will be taken off again because it just sucks.

As for the last chance - well, there are a whole heap of servers that you can go play on. We (RoS) don't like it and that is the way it will stay. If you would like to argue about it you are more than welcome to argue your point with all the other players that were kicked/banned because they used it. I am sure there is a support group somewhere out there for 2nd chancers... ;)

Last night I luckely got in on the side of the other teams spawn area on the Havana map, and killed them..... got all my killstreaks in 1 area:D
So, it happens:D

My point is, do not be hypocrites in saying it gives an unfair advantage, as with other clases moving silently, detecting the claymores and not appearing on the uav, gives you an unfair advantage..... in my eyes at least

At the end of the day, you can do wtf you want with your server, as you are paying for it.

It does happen, but not nearly as often as on Nuketown. If you are lucky enough to spawn in the enemy spawn in Havana you are in the pound seats because nobody checks their backs on that map... :)

I am not saying it gives an unfair advantage - I am saying it is a Hardcore server and as such it SHOULD be one bullet one soldier but with this 2nd chance crap it irritates people more than anything else.

But as you said - we are paying for the server so we will enforce which ever rules we want to... I played on a US server where you were not allowed to run... AT ALL... AND you HAD to walk ADS all the time otherwise they kick you without warning... :wtf:

There are PLENTY of servers where 2nd chance is allowed and if it is such an important part of your make up then go play there where it is not frowned upon. You cannot please everyone - so we are pleasing the people in our clan first and foremost.

In fact - there are so many servers in JHB that MWEB is not allowing any further implementations there.
 
I think thats three that enforce that rule now, RoS, DOG and i think i saw it on IRF not sure theres could of been for no noobtoobs
 
Bottom line, if the server doesn't start with mweb/igame or whatever isp decides to host a server, abide by the rules or gtfo :p

When I join a clan server I haven't played on before, then I play with standard loadouts untill I see what the console says re rules...

Having played a bit of hardcore, I don't think I will go back to it... Its far too slow for me. More realistic, but boring. I don't want to be an actual soldier, I just want to frag... Although, the hardcore does have its allure... Shoot someone in the toe with the bolt action rifle and they die. Very little tanking on the hc servers...
But then again, shoot someone in the toe in real life and they are going to scream blue murder, but they won't die... Well at least not immediately.

Bought this one... No stock of the Club3D cards anyware. Don't really care, since I only had problems with my previous Club3D card. :)
 
YIA servers are a waste of time, i only went on to play demo and plant for ninja pro, three times now booted once because i went past some imaginary line, and the other are tks which was at 4 tks which is not alot on demo nuketown whats the point of kicking them it doesnt affect your score it affects their score so why kick when its accidental, so i planted 5 times on one and four on the other got kicked from all, nothing counted towards stats so a complete fkn waste of fkn time , some 8 year old comes on mic, makarovs you is gettings kickd you cant goes past that lines, something must be wrong with the she is broke, just played a few games to the end planted twice and it didnt count

LOL - that is just weird. But each to their own I suppose. For them our ban of 2nd chance might seem weird... ;)
 
Yeah SharkBait. We don't need to play nuketown anymore!!!

I occasionally go in to bolster my kdr, but the amount of tubers, claymores and now even flamethrowers is hilarious... Maybe I should play like a noob too :p
 
Playing n00bish and camping are 2 things I can't do. ;) and you don't improve your stills that way. Playing on S&D NGL servers helps with skills. :D
