Our server is now ranked as well and running the black tomato mod. Still a noob with this thing, but I got a stats website (under construction) running as well. ;)
 
It does not always work, but as soon as you get to level 5/6 then it gradually comes back. It happened to V@T - but the other way around... LOL

He was playing and the game crashed. When he came back online he was Prestige 15 level 50! ROFL.....

He was on prestige 1 before the crash... I can't really say he is complaining! ;)
 
Well Last night MWEB & Black Ops was a no go ... again. Trying to get them to realize there is a problem is like getting Jesus himself to ascend again ;)

(This is what I posted under the MWEB - Gaming thread last night)

I have merged a few Fraps Caps to show...

1 Showing an incomplete server list
2 Massive lag spikes
3 Connection Interruptions & lag spikes
4 No Servers at all
5 Taking forever to login & no servers
6 Using AFRIHOST ! (immediately after trying with MWEB)

Makes no sense ... the ping is always fine (about 70ms for a CPT server and 50ms for JHB). But as u can see from my vid, I jump back like 10 steps when running (like getting stuck) and then the connection interruption pops up continuously.. esih ... not good !
 
That is the funny bit Slayer, at this stage people who are on MWEB playing on MWEB SERVERS are getting worse ping and dc issues than people on 3G or wireless.... Although I must stay Radeon (Screamer or Iburst or whatever) is also struggling quite a bit.

Oj ja, one thing I did not have a vid cap of was the disconnect from in game with the "Black Ops not available" which seems to happen frequently now... It also affects my Team Speak while in game (also disconnects intermittently)
 
G - it happens to me as well, but I must say VERY rarely. What I do is restart my router and it seems to work for a while...

Well, I would not know, as I have not had a connection since the "ICASA RAID" at Screamer.:erm:
But the last couple of months I had very few issues with Blops, or the connection.
 
So to get back to my "account rerset issue" after doing the file re-consiling there was no real or evident change but then I saw a few maps later hey my prestige level is back but my physical player level was still on level 18 or so. So now to see what will happen when I get on later tonight to see if the level will resturn at some points as well. Damn this game is bugged up..

Hi Guys, been playing Black Ops now for 2-3 months with little problems other than the occasional disconnect. Using MWEB 4meg shapped eat all you want account (R520pm) 15 prestiged last week 10 days playing time. This week I have given up trying to connect to the game. I don't understand how the game can be fine the one day and overnight degrade to a level where it is now unplayable due to me not being able to see games. And when buy some ****ing split in the space time continuum STEAM does find servers and I try join a populated server, I sit with the connecting to server dialogue box and a spinning circle trying to connect, but to no avali. WTF is going on here?
