Yes Chelsea unfortunately looking very strong and unbeatable at the moment, especially away from the Bridge just like last season.
 
Ya well something I just couldn't understand Huddink and Scolari has Anelka and Drogba at their disposal yet anelka was constantly overlooked and chelsea favoured their 4-5-1 formation...

looks like Articholottie may win the championship for chlesea, will have to see when CL starts tho...

I'm not enjoying the style of play yet - simply because the players are still learning and getting used to it. Though I like how Lancelotti has them really improving with every game I watch. I'd love to see how we shape up against an Arsenal or a United or a Liverpool. Those are the matches we need to really gel the team spirit and co-ord.

I had so much to say in the last three weeks, but thanks to those w@nkers at Telkom I coudn't - from now on though... :D

Whatever dude. Don't be a classless twit like those scummy Mancs. He fully deserves it. Anyway - no defence managed to contain Barca as long as HIS defence did. See the light, just because you support 'Pool, doesn't mean you have to scrape the bottom of the barrel with regards to opinions ;)

Terry deserved it, purely on the fact that he is a better defender than Puyol.

Also he did not get a single booking in the campaign AFAIK, Puyol got 2.

John Terry gets a major new salary bump. He could practically copy Gerrard's Chelsea chapter to his autobiography and swap Chelsea with Manchester City.

Come on... Chelsea fans might not have burnt Terry's shirt, but I was talking about the principles behind it. He used Man City like Gerrard used Chelsea. Rubbish that he even considered for a second to come to us. And before you ask - I did read that chapter. Everything about the Chelsea saga.
 
Yes but if you remember the Gerrard one, he officially announced he was off to Chelsea, only to come out the next day at a press conference and say that he has changed his mind.

The Terry one was far from that. Terry never even thought about going there, whereas Gerrard actually at one point was officially on his way.

I agree, Terry used Man City for his personal benefit. Gerrard actually believed at some point that he wanted to play for Chelsea.

Listen mate, I still think you're missing the point. Going on what I read in his autobiography, he had to do that simply because the Liverpool board were trying to be hardasses. You really think if Abramovich didn't take care of it personally, that Terry wouldn't have done the same? I'm not that blind to His Terryness. The board response was different. Even with the Lampard "Saga"... He could have conceivably gone to Inter - but he didn't. The basic principles are the same... the window dressing (the game of he said/she said) is irrelevant.

I've thought about it and I think you're right.:eek:

Looking back, Gerrard did use Chelsea for his advantages. The only difference is that it went a bit further than in Terry's case.
