Good for JT, I think he is a very strong leader. He has been hampered by lots of injuries of late, which has obviously affected his performance and therefore his attitude, but I think he has put all that behind him and he is back to being the best central defender in the world!

Milan Agree To Sell ***a For €102m​

Chelsea have been consistently linked with a move for the European and World Footballer of the Year over the last few years, and this summer have been consistently linked with a mega-money bid for the star.

In July it was reported that Chelsea had made a €100m offer for ***a. The next day Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani confirmed that the club had rejected a “conspicuous” offer from Chelsea but wouldn’t reveal a figure, before adding that ***a was not for sale at any price.

Chelsea's chief executive Peter Kenyon then refuted talk of a bid for ***a, but this didn’t stop the press reporting that the Londoners were set to make a huge €150m bid for the midfielder.

Eventually the speculation died down, but last week there were fresh reports in the English and Italian press that Milan may consider selling ***a to Chelsea next summer for a world record fee.

The Daily Star is today reporting that this is indeed true, and that the Rossoneri will release their star man if Chelsea table a bid of £80m, or €102m.

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is said to prefer the signing of Real Madrid star Robinho, but if this is not possible he certainly won’t turn down the chance of working with ***a, who he coached for Brazil during their victorious 2002 World Cup campaign in Korea and Japan.

Anybody watch the England match last night. WOW Rooney was hopeless!!!!

So he is poor for club and country.
 
Ya I watched it, pathetic display by him and england as a whole.

Commentators during the game were saying they need to replace rooney with someone who is more creative off the ball and creates opportunity .They said its all very well he has a good work rate but thats not what gets goals for England.
 
Rooneys work rate is good. Just that he thinks he is a mifielder, defender and striker. Last night, he went into the midfield a metre away from Barry, im sure Barry was thinking WTF dude!!! U need to be up front.
 
Ya the sooner england remove him from the starting 11 the better.
 
Funny thing is, that Man United fan boys thinks he is World Class. If they bring Berbatov to OT. Their top two strikers will be Tevez and Berbatov.

That would mean that Rooney will wamr the bench. Imagine that.

lol wonder what their excuses will be then for him, at the moment they blame ronaldo for him being such a pathetic striker, yet ignore the fact ronaldo doesnt play in the england squad.
 
Exactly!!!! When does United play Chelsea. Would good to see a good game to kick the season off.

Shevchenko To Milan Collapses​

The Rossoneri have been searching for a first striker all summer, and it had seemed as though former hero Shevchenko was on the verge of a move back to San Siro.

The basis of a one-year loan move, with Chelsea contributing part of the Ukrainian’s wages, had supposedly already been agreed upon.

The Corriere dello Sport claimed this morning that Milan transfer chief Adriano Galliani was to travel to Monte Carlo today to dine with Shevchenko and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon.

There they would tie up the last details of the deal, before the transfer would be officially signed, sealed and delivered tomorrow, with Sheva arriving in Milan on Sunday or Monday.

However, it has just emerged from Italy that the transfer has now collapsed after Chelsea refused to release the player on loan, with an option to make the move permanent.

The Londoners have made it clear to Milan that they will only offload Shevchenko if Milan buy him outright. The Rossoneri will not consider such a proposal, and it now seems as if Sheva’s hopes of re-joining the Diavoli have all but disappeared.

Shevchenko is gone back to Milan, sorry to see him go, wished he had performed better for us.

Hopefully Robinho will be here before the Tottenham game!
 
Not hope, but we do badly need more in attack and creativity, and Robinho will provide that.
 
He wants to go, he said so already. Calderon now reckons its up to the courts to decide what the penalty fee is. I have a feeling he will be wearing a Blue Shirt before the weekend!
 
Ya, he doesnt feel special at Real. Dont think he will feel special at Chelsea either.

Would be good to see him in the Chelsea team. Him and Drogba up front will be awesome. He will show Drogba how its done. Just like Deco is showing the other midfielders :D
