Why don't Chelsea just re-sign Ramires now...he's contract expires this year anyway....that would stop Real in its tracks....or is Ramires looking for fresh beginning?

He hasn't been too impressive this past term, and he is reaching peak age. I also think that it may be because he is already on his wawy out.

The style of football that the club ultimately wants to play is beyond his skillset, IMO.

Then why is Mourinho so fixated on keeping him....he does not want to release to Real

Well if Pogba comes in there really isn't a need for him, however he does offer us something different, none of our CMs are particularly pacy, and he does push through defenses, and he is a work horse, that's why Jose likes him. He had a bad end to a season but he started off nicely.

Not sure if you can but give it some volume...

Is Vidal really worth 62 million?

Some of the prices being thrown around seem a little high for some of these players I feel.

and then there's Cole who will be getting around 38000 a week. Doesnt that seem quite low for a free agent with his abilities? Seems like a good deal if Roma do get him and its true.

38k pounds? That doesn't sounds right at all, some of our youngesters are around that, Cole would never go that low.
As for Vidal he's the best midfielder in the world and he's 27 and Juve have zero reason to sell him and aren't a selling club. In a time where Luiz went for 50 yeah Vidal for 60 is fair.

I see it's 3 8000 pounds after tax.

Really Vidal is the best midfielder in the world? Haven't really watched him that closely. But yeah, if that's the case then I understand that price.

Just read up and he's being paid the same he was at Chelsea so 150k a week.
He's a box to box midfielder, got a great scoring streak for a midfielder and can defend like hell, he's amazing.

38k after tax seems to be a good deal considering he's 33 and has only ever played in the EPL. He should have angled for a move to the MLS.

Sounds like too good a deal to me. I know that Serie A does not pay as well, but that is close two-thirds wage drop. No way Chelsea would have let him go if he was willing to accept that.

But, if he is on £150k a week (+-€190k) then he is earning a little less than Danielle de Rossi after tax.

So, I'm guessing the latter. I mean, this is someone that nearly swerved off the road when offered £55k a week at Arsenal :p

38k after tax is never a good deal when you're as good as Cole when I bet you other clubs would've offered a lot for him. He is earning his Chelsea wage.

He's still a brilliant LB, too good for the MLS.
