Pretty even battle that. McEachren did well again.
We now need to make a comeback and beat Marseile this week and Arsenal next wk end.

You could say bogey team, or the first team that didn't lie down and let themselves get steamrollered :p We still have to see whether Chelsea have what it takes to win against teams that aren't lower half of the table.

Would've been a very different game if Ivanovic's header hadn't come back off the post.
 
I hate city. Dirty bunch of scum thats what they are.

Anyways, we played very poor, almost as if we agreed lets give them the points, thats all they gonna get this season.

Oh goodness, I could nitpick much more - but why? They played to win and they did. I have nothing against that - I'm not Cantera :p Oh yeah and by the by... they did let themselves get steamrolled by us. That's why Mancini played three holding midfielders. He's taken some notes from the success of Mourinho with his old club :D
 
I do feel Chelsea could've done much better.
Sometimes when Chelsea passed it felt like they were lazy, cos they passed so softly that man C always got the ball.

Well, he is Italian. And Chelsea is also Mourinho's old club. :)

McEachren looks like a good'un, very composed on the ball, but man is he tiny.

Yep, he does look the part. Needs loads more practice to be fair, though I think Carlo is looking to place him in that holding midfield role... which he looks very comfortable right now.
 
Ooooooooooooooooooo... Ka.kuta getting his first Chelsea start (and after the horrid displays by Sturridge in the last few games, I applaud Carlo's decision). Zhirkov is getting the nod ahead of Ramires, so we are looking at a very attacking team.
 
Whats up with Anelka's penalties? he leaves like a meter or less between him and the ball and he just kicks, the keeper is like oh wtf and doesn't move. happened last week against newcastle too.
 
Poor performance, someone needs to klap those boys upside the head. Onnly near the end was their proper play like we're used to from Chelsea. Let's hope they play properly against the gooners on Sunday...

Indeed second half was a poor performance. Sad to see McEachren come on so late.
 
Carlo's dad died late last night. RIP Guiseppe and condolences to the family. Carlo, all our thoughts are with you.

Brilliant game! Held on in the second half. Could've scored more tho.
