Well, you guys need to buy cover in January before Bruma goes anywhere.

Much better performance. Defence is still shaky, but once we turned it on, the boys were awesome!

Definitely. I still don't think that permanent reinforcements are needed though. Hopefully we can get in a decent defender to cover and keep Bruma as well. Next season we should have Rajkovic (who is doing bloody well and is eligible for his Dutch residency) to add to the squad while giving Bruma a six month/year long loan.

McEarchren and Van Aanholt were brilliant. Would've been great if van aanholt got the goal. They do need more game time.
I agree Sturridge is doing well and I would like to see him in instead of Kalou.

I really want to see more of Van Aanholt. He looks better and better in every game he plays.

Chelsea 9 Manchester City 0: The scoreline causing a major stir

Chelsea's Under 15 side have caused a major stir with a staggering 9-0 win over their Manchester City counterparts.

The Premier League clubs have two of the best-resourced youth set-ups in English football, with both under pressure from new UEFA rules to produce homegrown players rather than spend huge sums on foreign imports.

Chelsea's U18s won the FA Youth Cup last season for the first time since 1961. This week's stunning result against City - who have invested £10m in their Academy - suggests they may just have another outstanding crop of youngsters on their books.

City's academy isn't that good yet, they're pumping money into it but still can't get immediate results. Also, they left it quite late.

? Since when is a 9-0 loss a good result?

Who said it was a good result? I'm saying it was an even better result for Chelsea because historically City have produced more talent than we have (talking 80s and onwards though, 60s and 70s we pwnt them).

Chelsea need to win today. They have never been third for a week in like 2 seasons! excluding first and 2nd days.

You said City's academy isn't that good yet, I was disputing that fact. What I meant by previous results was the end product of their academy (quality/quantity of players released)... not the scoreline of that particular match.

Not a good result. Chelsea were useless first half and couldn't do anything second.
