Official Chelsea Supporters Thread

I wish they start Torres tonight and he finally gets his finger out of his butt and demolishes Utd tonight. Would LOVE to see Rooney throw his tantrums again

Sad that you have to draw strenght from a Liverpool game hahahaha

Lol, actually was just using it as a symbol as to whats going to happen since Torres now plays for Chelsea and will do that to Vidic in our colours! I don't have to draw strength from that since Manure haven't won at the Bridge since 2002! I think that stat gives me enough strength to draw from mate :D

Lol it was funny reading SAF comments about how the ref has helped us beat yol in the last few games with the offside goal etc.

Did that fool miss this:

Lol lol lol lol lol :D I love it when Chelsea fans stick their foot in their own mouths.

As for the penalty call, GOOD!! If that nancy boy Atkinson was there it would've been different. Nice to get a taste of your own medicine.

As for Torres, what a flop.

It would be nice if you put add a little comment when you link a youtube video. I am blocked from that site from work and it makes it extremely difficult to troll your posts if I don't know what its about.

Here goes anyway.

The referee is clearly favouring United and its a shocking piece of officiating! :D

Haha, sorry. The clips show both of Torres' dives from last night.

Torres can't even get the dive correct, you suppose to lift the leg that is getting tackled, instead Torres lifts the oppsite leg - looks like he wanted to take a piss on the pitch doggy style rofl

Client: "Fernando Torres"

People said the same thing about Didier Drogba when he came to the club a while back - the fact is that while Torres has been having a drought in front of goal - so have the rest of the strikers in the team. Daniel Sturridge on loan has scored more goals in the past few weeks than our entire front line. Its a combination of many things. One being a lack of service from our midfield - there are hardly any aerial passes or byline crosses anymore, the poor form of our fullbacks effectively gives Chelsea zero width. We also lack consistent flank players like Valencia(I like how SAF described him recently - pacy, creative and a good footballing brain - 100% what Chelsea need)etc. This means we have to go through the centre to create opportunities to score but unfortunately our central midfield lacks the continuous creativity to do that (Lamps is the only one but hasn't been able to capture his best form after injury, in addition he's finally on the wrong side of 30), its even harder since most teams have picked up on this tactic and flooded the centre of the pitch from the back all the way up to their advanced midfield positions. They press us and give us little space - this in turn forces Chelsea to push many forward in an effort to break through some how and that is the reason I think so many teams have played counter football and scored against us in that situation (when the defense is stretched). In the past years teams tried to press us but the pace and slickness of our passing made it very very hard for them to do what they do now and that is steal possession away from us and break up play. At the end of the day Chelseas problems run much deeper than a misfiring Torres and there is a great need for some pace and creativity in the team, a player who can pick out passes in a crowded centre would help bring Fernando back to form and to boost his morale, hell that kind of player would help the entire side! David Luiz a central defender who possesses at least some of these properties, but cannot use them as freely as we require, has made our team look its most threatening going forward for the last few games now!

I respect great players and Torres is one of them - form is temporary but class is permanent. All those players on that list where either unproven in England and hence didn't gel quite well to the EPL or they were just not that good ( the possible exception being Scott Parker - but he took many years after leaving Chelsea to find his form), so really they are not comparable to Torres situation at Chelsea. In fact Pulis, SAF and Martinez and have weighed in on the situation and all agree that Torres will be back - that he is quality and will be good for Chelsea. Personally I'd rather cast my lot with those guys instead of the moronic british press! I'm convinced that by next season Torres will be back to his shooting best and will shut the mouths of many doubters!
