I know all managers are guilty of hipocrisy, still fun to point it out.
 
This is how I see it.

If any EPL team out side the top 4 wins the Europa then Top 3 Qualifies and 4th and Europa winner enter the last round of qualifiers.

If any EPL team in side the top 4 wins the Europa then Top 4 stays top 4 with 4th having to qualify.

However if Chelsea win the Champsions League then whom ever ended 4th will be replaced by Chelsea (same way Spurs lost out some time ago). Any team outside of the top 4 winning the Europa will qualify as a 5th team entering the qualifiers.

Not sure how correct this is and if it makes any sense. :D

Nearly correct but not entirely

The UEFA Europa League winners will be elevated into the group stage if the UEFA Champions League winners qualify directly for the UEFA Champions League group stage via their domestic league programme – something which has happened every year since the turn of the century bar 2005, 2007 and 2012.

So if I understand that correctly. If Chelsea win the champs league. Winning Europa is not going to mean anything for teams outside the top 4.

No, it just means they then have to qualify through the playoffs, whoever finishes in 4th place will miss out though.
 
• Regarding the top three associations (i.e. Spain, England and Germany*): if two clubs from one of these countries win the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, and neither finish their domestic league in a position that qualifies them for the UEFA Champions League, the following will happen:

– The club that won the UEFA Champions League will go straight into the group stage
– The UEFA Europa League winners will go into the UEFA Champions League play-offs
– The club that had qualified for a UEFA Champions League play-off spot via their domestic league competition (i.e. finished fourth) will transfer into the UEFA Europa League

I think this explains it best. In summary if Chelsea win the Champions League and a team outside the top 4 wins Europa then whomever ended 4th will be playing football on Thursdays.

How was that the first red card Costa has received in his Chelsea career? I personally feel he is one of the dirtiest players in the league.
