Are there only two Chelsea fans on this forum?
Three it seems (like our shirty sponsor that wanted to bail after Roman!).
And these days I struggle to get excited to watch our games. Can't score a goal at home against 20th place Southampton (despite them not keeping a clean sheet for 20+ games apparently).
No passion. Watching the post match conferences with Potter, he's just too soft.
Someone pointed out we're doing worse than Lampard's rebuilding year despite spending a fortune on players. If Roman was at the wheel, Potter would be gone.
So, crashing in the tables and almost out of all cups, a turning fanbase, burnt bridges with so many good managers in the past, a manager that's out of his depth, owners who won't spend the money to sack Potter, piling up injuries, this is going right there with that dreadful 15/16 season even if we sack the manager.
It's so frustrating because this team could be so much better. Imagine a healthy Mendy in goal, a back 3 of Fofana/Koulibaly/Badiashile, healthy James/Chilwell as wingbacks, a healthy Kante partnering Enzo, Mudryk/Nkunku (if we paid more to get him immediately)/Mount. Would've been a whole lot better than now.
