Official Currie Cup Thread 2012

Disappointing loss for the Lions. I was really hopeful that they could pull this one off at home.

Man these roll away penalties are 90% bs ....... you can see when a guy is trying to gtfo but literally cannot.

Viljoen obviously only has talent in his foot ..... God fscked him over and removed everything from his hands coz he can't hold or catch a ball for shyte.

Straulie takes over the team = we go to utter shyte. Coincidence, I think not. Everyone is bunching in the middle of the field ffs, we have no defense our wide anymore o.O

Well the Sharks are playing like poopheads but I'm very impressed by this new ref, where did he come from.

This is regarding the later try during the second half of the Sharks vs the Cheetahs.

That TMO knows phuckall of physics. That was a foward pass.

I know the rule looks at the exit position of the ball during a pass ... but this passer was standing stationary and still the ball reached the catcher in a forward position ... which clearly indicates a forward pass.

Normally they look at the exit position of the ball from the passer if he is running forward which means a curved trajectory and they compensate for that if the ball reaches the catcher in a forward position.

But like I like said this passer was standing dead still. So ... no such physical occurance should come into play.
Which means ... no try for the Sharks.

... but yet it was a try for the Sharks ... that was WRONG.

It left his hands backwards, it's blowing a gale down there ....... do you need some lessons in wind blowing perhaps?

Uhm, it left HIS HANDS BACKWARDS, the wind took it forward, please find me the rule saying where the ball leaving the hands backwards is wrong, please.

Good game Sharks, shot my nerves but good game. Good game to the Cheetahs as well, they made this a game to really enjoy.

Say you are passing the ball from the half-line and a gust of wind (mid-way) blows the ball up to the goal-line (to use an extreme example) and the wing catches it and touches down ... how in ****s-name is that a legal pass?

It would be legal if it left the hands backwards, good cherry cake man

Lol, it's gonna be a looooooong game for the Bulls, this ref obviously hates them by all the sketchy calls he's making for WeePee

Put some thought into that and look at the rulebook and ask that question again.

You claimed to know the rules in an earlier post. Best you check that rulebook again in that case...
