Pienaar Named Among 10 Best Everton Buys

Former Bafana Bafana captain Steven Pienaar has been named among Everton’s 10 best transfers in history by an English publication.

The 34-year-old, whose contract with the Toffees was not extended at the end of last season, has been ranked as seventh best transfer in Everton history by the Liverpool Echo. Pienaar joined Everton twice and became a fan favourite during 229 games for the English club.“Pienaar was signed on a permanent deal in 2008 after a successful loan spell,” writes Glen Williams of the Liverpool Echo.

Moyes credited Pienaar for the way Everton’s football had improved when he was signed from the German club.One of the Blues’ most consistent performers on the left wing, Pienaar was adored by fans.Even after his departure to Tottenham Hotspur, the South African was welcomed back to Goodison Park in 2012 for another four seasons.”

Schillo has made 229 appearances for Everton during which he scored 26 goals and assisted in 48 more.

Did you know that until today I always thought the numbers at the bottom were betting odds.

Worries me when first thing those two numbers would signify for a Muslim guy is betting odds.

Koeman must be under huge pressure to get a result now.
 
Lukaku is a major problem. He is lazy. He constantly goes off side for no reason and just has a *** attitude

What? He isn't especially good at anything. Doesn't pass all that well, hardly ever scores, not especially good at defending.

Also a nasty player with that horror tackle on Henderson.

yeah I agree, his is useless and bad especially for England, does nothing for the team, just another body to fill the void

There is a reason he hasn't been near getting into the England team for a few months now.
