they are pretty much constant whatever time of the day, I only do tests over Ethernet, I don't have devices that can register wifi speeds over 20mbps
Sorry saturnz. I should have quoted ebendls post as i was interested in his results specifically but thanks none the less

Times are shown in the test: 23:12 PM.
Local is fairly cconstant any time of day, even peak hours.
International can be a bit all over the place but it was higher than I expected on average. The upload to the US seems low (haven't seen more than 20).
Was over LAN (to be fair my router is a Mikrotik with 100Mbps ports).

Openserve 10mb/s via Afrihost

Just got my fibre installed and thought someone may be interested.

I am in Northmead, Benoni and signed up for a 10mb/s line.
Openserve Network (NOT Vumatel) via Afrihost (appr. R650/month)

Interestingly the installer said that I am the first person to connect to this node/line (? is this the right word? I'm talking about the little box thing on the phone pole/line). It is also literally right behind me (the pole is in my rear neighbours yard) and I would estimate that they used no more than 10m of cable from there to the actual GPON terminal.

This test is also for the wireless connection (D-Link Router), and not a direct ethernet connection.

Basically, it looks like I am getting the full line speed promised (10mb/s download and 5mb/s upload), which is pretty damn awesome in my opinion!!! :p:love::cool:
