Fantastic price. I've just ordered one from a friend going to Europe this week and it works out at R3890 :wtf:

Still, I'm in Senegal and there's no other way to get one so 100 bucks is nothing. Only have to wait until 4th Feb now..........
 
Does anyone know how one can change the primary google account without resetting the tablet. if i remove the main google account, and put another one on, will i still get updates to the apps i had on the tablet?. i do not really want to reset the tablet, as one needs wifi to activate it, and im not near any wifi networks i can use. I tried in the past the four corner touch to bypass the initial activation, but this doesnt work, i have seen on an s3 you touch the bottom corners twice and then press the volume button, does anyone know of a sequence that works on the nexus 7?

You can't remove the initial/primary Google account without a factory reset, no. Which means that the apps will be wiped, and not update-able.

Since im hardly ever near a wifi, as i run my devices on 3g, is there a way to bypass the activation?, can i do a factory reset and then boot the nexus 7 to safe mode in order to bypass it?. Has anyone achieved this, or willing to try for me?
 
So who has what case and screen protector? bid or buy appears to be the only place to buy online?
 
Anyone try a "tablet UI" mod yet? So many roms and kernels Im overwhelmed. I just want a stable rom with decent performance. Not really keen on flashing every week so don't want a nightly type rom. Being able to use usb otg for an external 3G card would be a plus.

You can have that with the stock ROM, when rooted.
 
Thanks, will update my stock then, feels a bit laggy the way I bought it (4.1.2).
