As long as it is Mastercard or Visa, it should work, as far as I can tell. At first, it did not want to even present me with the offer. I figured out that my normal credit card in Google checkout (with my address) was preventing the offer from being displayed. As soon as I changed the details (deleting the card altogether would also have worked), it worked.

Weird, I tried 4 different cards, Mastercard visa and American express and all have me the same message. I even created a new goggle account and no luck.

Edit I wonder if I do a factory restore if it might then work?

If I have one complaint about the Nexus 7 it is that I feel the colors are a bit dull and washed out. Researched this and seems I am not the only one who thinks this, but apparently a update could resolve the color calibration.

Anyone else find the colors are not very vibrant?

Looked on BidOrBuy and virtually everyone is just a drop shipper. I need to have one by Thu latest.

Out of curiosity, what do you guys use to charge your Nexus 7 considering it ships with a USA plug. Obviously USB via PC is the easiest, but its a trickle charge. I was wondering if my S3 charger would charge it, need to check the amps.

It will. I have not even taken the charger out of the N7 box.
I have an Asus charger, an iPad one and the S3 and they all charge my N7. Big bonus that the N7 has uUSB and not those stupid proprietary chargers like on the iPad, Galaxy Tab and Asus Transformer so don't need 10 million plugs by each of the places I sit at in the house.

Only problem with this case is that the N7's designed orientation is portrait (overcome by different launcher though). Makes it a pain laying in bed and using a case that does not allow for portrait.
I use portrait a lot when browsing the forums and stuff. Switch to landscape

Damn that price from takealot is madness.

I must say the nexus 7 is the first device i have had where I am not worried about getting a cover or protector. It doesn't feel as delicate as my ipad and I love the rubber back.

I got a "visitor to SA" converter plug from Clicks (also available in Cape Union Mart and some other stores) for R70. Looks like this (my Nexus 7 is from the UK) or this (also converts American plugs) and it works just fine. I'm not to fond of the idea of using other chargers for my new toy
