Very, very annoying. Hope they fix this. I find performance overall is poorer on 4.1.2.

I am thinking of doing a factory restore, that should revert it back to 4.1.1.

I don't think this is the case.

AFAIK it'll just reset the device.

To revert just load a different ROM?

You probably won't see it get much better than it already is. Maybe I am wrong, but you know how the supply and demand song goes.

well the 16GB has been officially dropped to $199 while the 32 is $250 i think.

I don't experience this at all - maybe since I use the Apex Launcher since day one to sort out the landscape rotation bug before the last update
Never bothered to uninstall Apex Launcher - there are settings for rubber banding behaviour 1-100 scale, try it out, it is Free

Is anyone here having problems with the screen flickering? It's very slight, I only really notice it when I'm in a dark room, but it's enough to be an irritation, particularly when reading something on a while background (i.e. most websites, facebook, etc).

Screen flickering got worse, and I ended up taking it back. Shop didn't have stock for an exchange so gave me a refund.

Sounds like he had a defective device... the screen is not supposed to flicker.
