Just got my M7 swopped out. Pink camera issue. Took 24 hours.

Had custom running but just ran the stock firmware + recovery available from htc1guru beforehand

It's a great, close to stock ROM that has all the tweaks I want to get my One perfect. For instance I added Whatsapp to Extreme Power Saving mode so now it's actually useful. I highly recommend it.

Seriously considering doing a Nandroid backup as soon as the GPE Lollipop comes out then using that while we wait for the Sense version. Lollipop just looks too good.

Hi there

Can you tell me which file you used to reset your phone? I'm not exactly sure which one to use.

Cant remember where eactly I downloaded it, but it was named: Guru_Reset_M7_3.62.401.1.zip

This took the phone to the earlier firmwares, and took away root but bootloader was still unlocked. Either HTC don't mind or the guy didnt check

I got serious battery drain for a few days after I installed it. It seems to have stabilized after I wiped the cache.

Their service is excellent. I had my replacement in 24 hours

Took in my HTC One M7 today at MTN in Tyger Valley due to the purple hue camera issue. I told the guy that they probably send the phone to Regenersis in JHB, but according to him it goes to a place in Milterton. So maybe he just isn't informed?

Owell, he said I should expect a phone call within the next two days. I wonder if they will replace the phone or try to fix it?

Seems my old M7 is having the purple camera problem, I'm running a fully converted GPE device, firstly what's the warranty situation on it from Vodacom and will I have to restore back to Sense if I send it in?
