It really is a beautiful phone. I always thought the people talking about the good build quality were just following the crowd, but after comparing it with some other phones, it seriously is a good looking phone. It almost feels more "grown-up" than the Galaxy S4. Also no gaps or dead pixels :)

The 2-button menu system took some getting used to, but it almost feels like 2nd nature now. Only some apps (2 to be exact, with Tapatalk being one) have this long menu button on the bottom of the screen. I also suggest you immediately download Power Controls or Extended Controls, as the notification area does not have any toggles. I got close to 16 hours on 1st charge; and that is with a lot of playing and downloading.

Agreed. Power toggles is the first app to be installed.

I have mine for two weeks and I haven't had the urge to root it as everything works like it should. With my Samsung I had to root it just to get it to work smoothly.

This phones really is amazing. :p

Get the smart ir remote app from the app store (so not the one that comes pre installed) .... Am controlling my dstv , home theatre, and tv from one single interface ... Am quite impresses

OK just bought the app now. How do you configure it for the dstv decoder?
 
Well decided this weekend i WONT be waiting on MTN or Cell C to stock this phone..and will be porting over to :( vodacom :( tomorrow..

Seems their smart m package is n decent deal...well in my opinion that is
 
Who is buying accessories? Like screen protector from overseas. I needed a spigen sp, so thought of a few out is pitched in ... Then we save on shipping

what site do you intend on purchasing from ... as soon as i get my ONE i will def want a case as well as
screen protectors ... also looking for a car doc (something that can hold the phone and charge)
 
Just bought the dual pro shine aluminium one from amazon. it was $22.

I am hoping it comes with a screen protector.

Also, this phone is awesome.

Coming from an S3, its like chalk and cheese. The build quality that is.
 
I'd also like to know what site. Most of the stuff i have seen on Amazon do not ship to SA so its a bummer. Mayb we can arrange a group buy or something. Accessories for this phone in SA are non-existant.

Wow, just spoke to Nashua to load data and I asked about how the demand is for the phone. Guy tells me it's very high and VodacomSA only got 500 devices. 500 devices. For the whole country. 500. :eek:

Feeling really lucky right now.
