I find the strength of my perceived need to get this phone is directly proportional to the number of times I visit this thread...

the phone I ordered from Vodashop has been waiting there since the 10th of June and no one bothered to phone me. Only because I phoned them today, I found this out...

that is very true for allot of us here after all it is an amazing phone :} just sad that HTC itself as a company
is such a let down ... and then MTN adds to it by their lack of foresight

Agreed. Had the carriers had sufficient stock, marketed the device a little and had some form of accidental damage warranty this phone would be dominating the high-end market in SA. As it is, it's a peripheral player at best with most people not even having heard of it. Sad really.

Totally agree, the phone had the potential to make HTC a major player but due to their internal
issues and lack of structure and marketing they killed their own chances of making a better
name and stronger company for themself.

true true..

Does anyone know who has stock of HTC one cases in SA? either online or shops based in JHB?

Thanks

I'm finally going to get mine this afternoon from Vodacom. I was out of contract for 9 months.
Do you guys think that the Smart L is a good option, my current MTN (350) spend is around 600 - 700.
